Watchgoose monitors cron jobs, backups, scripts, and scheduled work through heartbeat or failure signals. A check expects successful runs according to its configured schedule and grace period, then alerts when an expected success is missing. Operators and development teams can use HTTP or email endpoints to track recurring work without running their own monitoring service.
