Terms of Service

1. Who can use Indie Need

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for them.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts to manipulate votes, reviews, or rankings.

3. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the products, launches, comments, reviews, and media you submit (“Your Content”). By submitting it, you grant Indie Need a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to submit it and that it does not violate our Content Policy or the law.

4. Acceptable use

When using Indie Need, you agree not to:

• Post unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content.
• Manipulate votes, reviews, rankings, or metrics by any means, including fake accounts, incentivised voting, or automated activity.
• Impersonate a person, company, or product, or falsely claim ownership of a listing.
• Scrape, overload, probe, or interfere with the Service or its security.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, edit, unpublish, or remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, when we reasonably believe they violate these Terms or our policies. Where practical we explain why and offer a route to appeal, as described in our Account & Suspension Policy.

6. Service provided “as is”

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that listings, rankings, or third-party links are accurate, safe, or continuously available. To the extent permitted by law, Indie Need is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
