TinyLaunch alternative: IndieNeed vs TinyLaunch
TinyLaunch is a launch board with a free Standard Launch and a paid Premium Launch. IndieNeed, which we run, is a daily launch board with a product page that stays up. Here is how they differ, with TinyLaunch's side checked on its own page on .
| Detail | IndieNeed | TinyLaunch |
|---|---|---|
| Launch format | Daily launch board, plus a product page that stays up | Launch board; free launches stay on the homepage for multiple days |
| Cost | Free listing; paid plans $15-$120, one-time | Free Standard Launch; Premium Launch $39 per launch |
| Website link | Free listings are nofollow. Any paid plan ($15-$120, one-time) includes a dofollow link, and a free listing can add one for $3, one-time. A followed link is not a promise of a higher ranking. | Free: a backlink only for the top 3. Premium: a guaranteed backlink. Its page does not say dofollow or nofollow |
| Badge | Not required | A badge for the top 3 (not a requirement) |
| Wait | Free listings are reviewed, then get the next open free launch day. Paid plans publish right away and can pick the day | Free launches join a queue; Premium skips it |
When TinyLaunch is the better pick
Pick TinyLaunch for a free launch on a board where a top 3 finish earns a badge and a backlink, or pay $39 for a guaranteed backlink and no queue.
When IndieNeed is the better pick
Pick IndieNeed if you want a product page that stays useful after launch day and a dofollow link that does not depend on finishing in the top 3: every paid plan includes one, and a free listing can add one for $3.
