Voting opens Oct 9, 2026

Spare for Mac is a desktop app where you describe a small tool or toy in one sentence, and it gets built and installed as a plugin on your Mac. Try "a menu-bar Pomodoro timer that reminds me to stand up" or "a desk pet that gets hungry and wants attention". Plugins land in My Plugins and run with one click. Share any plugin with a friend in one click, or install games, desk pets and tools others published in the community (most are MIT licensed). GPT-5.6 is free to use (fair-use limits apply); Pro ($9.9/month) unlocks GPT-6. macOS 14+, Apple silicon.
