Questions about Pinwise
Do I need an account to use Pinwise?
No. Pinwise runs in the browser and does not require a signup or account. Scores stay on the device you bowl on.
Where are my scores stored?
Games stay in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage. They are not uploaded to a Pinwise server when you bowl. You can download a JSON backup before switching phones.
Can I scan the house scoreboard instead of typing frames?
Yes. You photograph the overhead scoreboard, review the frames Pinwise reads, and fix any misses before you save.
