Ask-first local guardrails for AI coding agent actions

HOL Guard is a local checkpoint between AI coding agents and your machine. Before an agent runs a shell command, reads a secret, calls an MCP server, or installs a package, HOL Guard checks the action against your policy and allows, blocks, or asks you. Open-source core (Apache-2.0): pipx install hol-guard && hol-guard init. Optional paid Guard Cloud adds hosted, fully managed team features. Not a gateway or network firewall; it does not stop every prompt injection, and scans are not a safety guarantee.
