Indie Need works because makers and enthusiasts treat each other well. These guidelines apply everywhere on the platform — comments, reviews, profiles, and launches.
Be genuine
Share real opinions and real work. Do not manipulate votes, reviews, or rankings, and do not ask for votes in exchange for anything.
Be respectful
Critique products, not people. Harassment, hate speech, threats, and targeted pile-ons are not allowed.
Be honest about who you are
Disclose your relationship to a product when you comment or review it. Do not impersonate others or run undisclosed alternate accounts.
Keep it relevant
Spam, off-topic self-promotion, and repetitive link-dropping dilute the community and will be removed.
