Platefolio vs Squadcard
Facts from each product's IndieNeed listing, side by side.
Platefolio is a recipe manager built on one idea: the layout of a recipe should be your choice, not the app's. The same recipe renders five ways, you can pick per recipe: a clean cookbook page, a 4x6 notecard, a Cooking for Engineers style flowchart, a mobile-friendly CfE Rails view, or a step-by-step cook mode. Add recipes by hand, import from a URL, pasted text, or a photo/screenshot.
Squadcard is an app for football groups that play every week. After each game, players rate each other and everyone gets a player card with an overall rating and six stats that change through the season. The organiser sets up the squad and shares one link. iPhone players can get the app, and Android players just open the link in a browser.
