# RedFlagNow vs ScanMyTerms

Facts from each product's IndieNeed listing, side by side.

## [RedFlagNow](https://www.indieneed.com/products/redflagnow)

Upload or email a vendor/SaaS contract; get a plain-English red-flag report on renewals, notice windows, exit/data terms within 24h. Not legal advice. Built for freelancers, founders, and ops reviewing contracts before they sign.

## [ScanMyTerms](https://www.indieneed.com/products/scanmyterms)

ScanMyTerms reads a contract and lists the clauses that work against you. Upload a file or take photos of the pages, and each finding shows the risk level, the exact quoted wording, why it hurts, and how you could change it. The total risk count and the first two findings are free, so you can see it is actually reading your document.

## How they compare

Both are listed under Legal on IndieNeed. RedFlagNow is paid; ScanMyTerms is free with paid plans. ScanMyTerms has more upvotes on IndieNeed. ScanMyTerms launched on IndieNeed first.
